About the client!
Our client is a large group of Telehealth experts, including therapists, doctors, dietitians, and life coaches, with the aim of making their services available to anyone in the world. They also wanted to bring together other Telehealth providers under an easy-to-use platform that automates most of the work of connecting, scheduling, and billing. The client’s primary goal was to provide state-of-the-art, high-definition video calling with optimization for lower bandwidth connections and other features specific to Telehealth.
The Telehealth industry was booming, and the client wanted to provide a platform that is accessible to anyone in the world. The primary challenge was to create a platform that would offer high-quality video calling with features specific to Telehealth. The platform needed to automate most of the work of connecting, scheduling, and billing, making it easy to use for both therapists and patients. The client also required the platform to have a search and filter option for patients to find the right therapist according to their needs.
Our team developed a responsive, React-based web platform that was compatible with mobile and tablet form factors. We created a portal for both therapists and patients that offered a range of features, including:
The platform provided an easy-to-use application process for therapists, which required screening that took less than 24 hours. After the screening process, therapists could set their availability and start accepting calls. The platform provided therapists with a dashboard that included a calendar showing upcoming calls, billing, and account settings.
The platform allowed patients to view a listing of various therapists available on the platform. Patients could search and filter to find the right therapist according to their needs. Patients had access to the therapist’s schedule, which made it easy to book an available slot.
Calls were conducted on the platform itself, and billing was done automatically based on several factors, including time booked and overtime. Patients had full access to their history on the platform, which made it easy to keep track of their progress.
