Balance InStyle is a concierge service provider that steps in to fill just about any need their clients might have, from performing day-to-day chores to providing personal assistant services for corporate clients. They spend so much time taking care of their clients that they found themselves in need of support when it came to developing a web platform.
The platform was critical to a deal they were working on to become Costco vendors. Costco’s specifications are demanding, and Balance InStyle needed to be able to prove they were ready to do things CostCo’s way.
That’s where Silstone came in. We developed a complete solution that helps them handle internal processes like hiring and managing employees, as well as a public customer interface to handle their many (and varied) service requests.
Silstone created a web-based interface for prospective Balance InStyle customers to request services and make payments; an interface for employee hiring, management as well as training and evaluation; and a complete Administrator portal to track and manage every aspect of the company and its customers. All of these aspects were designed to meet Costco’s rigorous vendor standards, and the resulting platform helped Balance InStyle get into stores and reach 70,000 more potential clients each week.
